Account & Data Deletion

We respect your control over your data.

Any Storlox account can be closed by the person who holds it — from the Storlox app, from the Merchant dashboard, or from this page if you can no longer sign in. Below is how to ask, what happens next, and exactly which data is removed and which is kept.

How to delete your account

If you can still sign in, do it from inside Storlox. Both routes open the same request.

Storlox app

Settings → Security → Delete account

Open Settings, tap Security, then Delete account. You'll see what closing the account affects before you confirm anything.

Merchant dashboard

Account → Security → Delete account

Open Account, choose Security, then Delete account. The confirmation screen lists the stores, team members and subscriptions the request will close.

You'll be asked to confirm it's really you: your password, or your account email address if you sign in with Google. Storlox never asks for a verification code or payment details to close an account.

Can't access your account?

Enter the email address the account uses and we'll send a link that opens the deletion request. Nothing happens to any account until that link is used.

  1. Enter your account email address below.
  2. Open the link we email you. It stays valid for 24 hours.
  3. The account closes and your personal data is scheduled for removal — with a link to undo it in the receipt.

For your privacy we answer the same way whether or not an address has a Storlox account, and we never ask for your password here.

What happens when you delete your account

Deletion is two steps with a deliberate gap between them: the account closes the moment you ask, and your personal data is removed when the undo window ends.

Straight away

  • Every store you own goes offline and its storefront stops serving.
  • You're signed out of Storlox everywhere — every browser, every device.
  • Push notifications to your phones stop.
  • You get an email confirming the request, with the exact date your data is removed and a link to cancel.

After 30 days

  • Your password and any linked Google sign-in are deleted.
  • Your name, email address and profile photo are stripped from the account record. The address is released, so you can sign up again with it.
  • Sessions, device registrations and your Storlox notification history are deleted.
  • You are removed from every store team you belonged to.

What Storlox keeps

  • Orders, invoices, payments and the records attached to them stay. They are business and financial records that Storlox — and your own tax authority — are required to keep.
  • Support conversations and invitations you sent go on existing, because someone else is part of them too, but they stop naming you.
  • A record that the deletion happened: identifiers, counts and dates, never the personal data it removed.
  • What shoppers gave a store belongs to those shoppers rather than to the account that is closing, so it is not erased along with it.

Cancelling takes one click while the window is open. Once it closes, the removal has run and there is nothing left to restore.

Accounts we close with you, not from here

Storlox staff accounts, and accounts linked to a Storlox Expert profile, can't be closed from the app, the dashboard or this page — there is platform access or contracted work attached to them. Write to [email protected] and a person will close it with you.
